The DashDyno SPD combines a scan tool, performance meter and data logger into one, easy-to-use instrument for the automotive enthusiast. The dynamometer measures horsepower/torque and acceleration times. Results are graphically displayed with zoom and scroll. The data logger records data from the vehicle diagnostic port, analog inputs, a digital input, and an external GPS. Up to 16 parameters may be simultaneously. Recorded data may be viewed directly on DashDyno or using a PC with the included Dyno-Scan for Windows software. Google Earth playback is used to correlate recorded vehicle sensor data with the vehicle’s GPS position. Read and clear the dashboard Check Engine light. Access to thousands of generic and enhanced diagnostic trouble code definitions are displayed directly on screen. All 1996 or newer vehicles are supported using the OBD II diagnostic port located under the dashboard.
